Our Policy of Social Compliance
As Çukurova Paper and Packaging Group, acting with the principle of "People First" at every stage of production and management;
- Not to employ workers under the age of 18, to act in accordance with the procedures and principles of employing young workers,
- Not to employ forced and involuntary workers,
- Adopting a proactive approach based on risk analysis, ensuring the participation of all employees in occupational health and safety practices, and adopting a working environment and system that prioritizes the general health and safety of employees,
- Not to discriminate in any way in employment, promotion and dismissal, to employ according to their ability to do the job; to realize remuneration, social assistance and promotions in this direction,
- To respect the personality and dignity of each employee, and not to tolerate verbal, physical or psychological harassment or coercion,
- To carry out disciplinary practices within the framework of legal regulations,
- To comply with the applicable legal regulations and collective bargaining agreements in determining the working hours, to comply with the voluntary principle in overtime,
- To make normal, overtime payments and social benefits determined by laws,
- To evaluate the social compliance of the supplier companies it works with, to monitor the evaluation results with action plans and to increase the social compliance levels gradually,
- To comply with the applicable national legal regulations, the standards published by the International Workers Organization (ILO) referred to in the SA 8000 Standard, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the United Nations conventions and the SA 8000 Social Responsibility Management System Standard, to ensure the continuity of this compliance and to implement them. We are committed to continuous improvement.
